The red dot is Waymeet
Waymeet is a village on the northernmost border of Valdemar, near the Forest of Sorrows. It's closest neighbor is the village of Berrybay. The two together are the farthest northern settlements in that part of the kingdom.
During Talia's internship, she and Kris first encountered the village as it was being decimated by Snow Fever. Talia rode for help, while Kris tended the sick villagers.[1] On their second pass through the village later that year, they were given a hero's welcome.[2]
Bard Lelia was aiming for Waymeet--en route to the Forest of Sorrows--when she lost her way, and found herself in Langenfield instead.[3]
