Lord Falthern holds lands that border Hardorn.
During Selenay's aborted state visit to Hardorn, she camped on the grounds by the border crossing. When battle was eminent, she sent the wounded, the noncombatants, and the Regent Elspeth to stay in Falthern's keep nearby. Lord Falthern was quite happy for the excuse to move himself and his family elsewhere, as far from the fighting as possible.
