Not to be confused with Herald Arvil in the Herald Arvil Miniseries
Arville was one of four Herald Trainees mentored and interned under Herald Elyn. Described as extremely tall and chronically unkempt. Arville's uncommon and powerful gift of Luck ensured that "he could trip and fall and come up not only unhurt, but clutching something useful, important, or occasionally even valuable." This is true when exploring a strange noise while on his internship circuit, Arville meets and is Chosen by a young kyree name Ryu. This does not compete or disturb the relationship to his own Companion.
With his Gift of Luck, Arville manages to live long enough to go into semi-retirement. He moves to a border village where he takes care of the local Waystations. The nearby Guard outpost keeps an eye on him.

Arville was Chosen by Pelas, who gets along well with the kyree Ryu.

Arville possesses the extremely rare and powerful Gift of Luck, notably difficult to predict or control.
Internship[]
Arville interned under Herald Elyn with three other trainees (Alma, Rod, Laurel) through unnamed farming country consisting of relatively flat lands and noted as being an ideal and very uneventful circuit.
