Father Aldon is the patriarch of Valdemar's largest religious sect. The snowy-haired elder was a member of Queen Selenay's Council, serving as Lord Patriarch. He favored the proposed marriage of Princess Elspeth to Prince Ancar of Hardorn, hoping the union would bring peace to both lands.
He retired from the position of Lord Patriarch, turning over his Council seat to his successor, Father Ricard.
